Essential and popular, the annual orchid show returns to the New York Botanical Garden, 2900 Southern Blvd. Bronx, after a long hiatus due to the Pandemic. Marking its 19th season, “The Orchid Show: Jeff Leatham’s Kaleidoscope” will feature dazzling and inventing floral creations on display from February 26th thru May 1st. A floral designer to the stars and a lifestyle influencer, Leatham will transform some of the Garden’s galleries into an elegant and vibrant fusion of colors and shapes demonstrating his ability in extracting the most beautiful essence of flowers and Nature. @National Sawdust

A celebrated Mexican singer and composer, Magos Herrera is known as one of the most expressive voices in contemporary Latin Jazz. A New-York based, Grammy nominated artist with a bold, unique style, Herrera masterly blends different rhythms of Jazz to Latin traditions, with focus on her vocal improvisations. The respected star returns to the stage of National Sawdust, 80 North 6th Street, Brooklyn, on February 17th to present “Remanso” a collective musical work created in isolation and reflecting in themes of loss, grieving, hope and resilience. @The Joyce Theater

Rooted in powerful Afro-Colombian and Afro-contemporary dance, Rafael Palacios’ latest full-length work for the Colombia-based Sankofa DanzafroAccommodating Lie, challenges the “exotic” label that western colonizing culture has assigned to Black bodies. Uplifted by live music and singing, Sankofa performers reclaim their representation through a series of emotional dances in which they embody decades of slavery and racism. Accommodating Lie is a potent call for awareness that dismantles stereotypes and clichés about the Black body throughout history and in the present day. Sankofa Danzafro returns to The Joyce Theater, 175 8th Avenue, Chelsea in Manhattan, marking the re-opening of the dance performance venue after a hiatus since the Holidays due to COVID concerns. Blippi The Musical  brings the energetic and loveable character Blippi off the screen and onto the stage with world-class production, audience engagement and amazing music. Children from the ages of 2 to 7 years old across the world have quickly taken a liking to Blippi’s charismatic personality and innovative teaching lessons! In the Live show they will continue to learn about the world around them while singing and dancing along with this one of a kind show.
