The engagement will run at the Joyce Theater, from Monday, August 8th thru Saturday, August 13th.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-23982\" src=\"http:\/\/www.brazilianpress.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/foto-2-dance.jpg\" alt=\"foto 2 dance\" width=\"500\" height=\"363\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.brazilianpress.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/foto-2-dance.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.brazilianpress.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/foto-2-dance-300x218.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Since 2007, Artistic Director Iain Webb has revolutionized the company\u2019s repertoire, drawing international attention for being the first company since the 1980s to regularly dance Ashton\u2019s work. In true Ashton style, the company performs &#8220;Fa\u00e7ade&#8221;, the choreographer\u2019s tongue-in-cheek tribute to popular songs and dances of the Twenties, a piece that unites high art with sheer enjoyment. The program also features &#8220;Valses nobles et sentimentales&#8221;, a series of waltzes created in 1947 and lost until its revival in 1986, and four other delightful divertissements.<\/p>\n<p>The Joyce Theater is located at 175 Eighth Avenue, corner of 19th Street in Manhattan, New York City.
