Here they are.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>SURVIVING THE JUNGLE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In directors Robert Machoian and Rodrigo Ojeda-Beck&#8217;s fascinating WHEN SHE RUNS, a woman is completely taken by her ambition to win a running contest, making tremendous sacrifices, which includes becoming an estranged figure for her family. Influenced by Neo-realism, it&#8217;s an instant American classic. From England, JELLYFISH depicts adolescence in raw manners, as a teen struggles to maintain her siblings while dealing with her mentally disturbed mother. Pushed by abusive events she turns to be a talented comedian, but first-time director James Gardner builds up obstacles to unchain her courage conceiving a masterpiece. The lyrical modern fable WE THE ANIMALS explores a poor family&#8217;s struggles seen through the experiences of three young brothers, including the youngest one who&#8217;s initiating his sexuality. There, she meets other &#8220;sick&#8221; teens, painting an accurate portrait of 90&#8217;s America seen through revolutionary minds. The Canadian comedy SLUT IN A GOOD WAY follows a heartbroken girl who becomes seduced by her schoolmates&#8217; ideas, and decides to sleep with all the boys in search of a replacement for her heart. Director Sophie Lorain created a feminine liberation statement, smart and delicately erotic. Accomplished filmmaker Miguel Arteta is back with the sexually-charged DUCK BUTTER, an inclusive look at the obsessive relationship of two young women seeking different ambitions while exploring mutual lust. The curious story is the plot of the amazing doc KAISER, collecting testimonies from Brazilian soccer celebrities on the most infamous case, while brilliantly re-constructing the events. NICO, 1988 follows the former Velvet Underground singer as she tours Europe, reflecting on politics, behavior, trends and her mysterious relationship with her son. Actress Trine Dyrholm gives a tour-de-force performance as the compulsive and beloved rocker. In the British teen drama OBEY an aspiring boxer boy struggles to survive amidst abusive parents and the temptations of street criminality.
