The 2021 Festival continues next week and runs through December 12<sup>th<\/sup> with special presentations and live screenings of the most exciting and entertaining films exploring the Black lifestyle in varied cultures. Brazilian films are represented by a few must-see titles, including nightly screenings of the action-fueled historical thriller \u201cMarighella\u201d, 2021 box-office hit that continues to attract audiences in Brazil; The Festival will also offer Online Viewing of all films: Director Daniel Filho\u2019s latest erotic crime mystery \u201cThe Silence of the Rain\u201d starring Lazaro Ramos and Claudia Abreu; the polemic socio-political activism teen drama \u201cA Bruddah\u2019s Mind\u201d, and \u201cDoutor Gama\u201d, the latest in accomplished director Jeferson De\u2019s biographical exploration on Black Brazilian revolutionaries who tragically fought for their freedom and justice. The lineup features Award-winning films of varied range of comedy, thrillers, dramas and adventures, certainly to delight everyone. Blending special tunes that defined them as the musical superstar representation of Black Power and Culture, they deliver amazing compositions with influences on African roots, reggae, jazz, funk, blues, R&amp;B, Gospel and deep soul, making everyone dance and rejoice. NJPAC, 1 Center Street, will host a special 2-evening historical event, December 7 and 8 and tickets are still available.
