Scott Siegel\u2019s traditional Broadway By The Year continues its successful 2022 season with another roast of talented singers, artists and musicians taking the stage of the historical The Town Hall, 123 43rd<\/sup> Street in Manhattan, on Monday June 27th<\/sup> at 8pm. \u201cAlmost On Broadway\u201d will celebrate songs from shows played Off-Broadway and in other parts of the country. The cast includes Christine Andreas (\u201cOklahoma!\u201d), Crystal Joy (\u201cMotown\u201d), Danny Gardner (\u201cFlying Over Sunset\u201d), Jason Graae (\u201cForever Plaid\u201d) and other special guests, performing popular songs from \u201cThe Fantasticks\u201d, \u201cForbidden Broadway\u201d, \u201cWhen Pigs Fly\u201d and more. The traditional Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition wraps up this Friday at 7pm at Symphony Space (95th<\/sup> street and Broadway), with live performances from some of the most promising young stars in the world, as well as the announcement of its 2022 Awards. Celebrating its 10th<\/sup> anniversary hosting the competition that gathers over 100 ballet students and professional dancers from around the globe, including Brazil, Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela and South Korea, the event will have the participation of renowned judges such as Ricardo Scheir (photo), the director of Pavilhao Centro de Artes in Sao Paulo, who will introduce Brazilian dancer Humberto Teixeira for a pas de deux, alongside Mari Sugawa.
