The iconic and centennial music venue The Town Hall, 123 43rd Street in Manhattan, will host a great celebration of jazz innovations. Multi-Grammy-winning pianist, composer, and arranger Arturo O&#8217;Farrill will lead the stunning 18-piece Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra on Saturday January 14<sup>th<\/sup> at 8pm. The spectacle \u201cDizzy, Chano and Chico- The Original Influencers: 75 Years Later at Town Hall\u201d will pay tribute and revive the legacy of those great jazz pioneers as well as presenting fresh talents. The night\u2019s special guests include Cuban percussionist and singer Pedrito Martinez, jazz legends trumpeter Jon Faddis and saxophonist Big Chief Donald Harrison, and others. Tickets start at $43. The charming fairytale love story adaptation signed by Tchaikovsky is danced by some exquisite young and veteran dancers, filled with colorful costumes, splendorous sets and uplifting music. Directed by Joana Pimenta and Adirley Queir\u00f3s, it blends fiction and documentary to portrait a gang of female motorcyclists making a revolution to get control of their Sol Nascente Favela in Brasilia. They steal oil from underground pipes and turns it into a profit while protesting the authoritarian government and leaving their radical mark. Tickets $12.
