Ruidosa Fest, the groundbreaking, first female-led music festival from Latin America, is set to make its historic U.S. debut at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, August 10, 2024. This free festival, founded by acclaimed singer-songwriter Francisca Valenzuela, celebrates and amplifies the voices of female and female-identified artists.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Part of Lincoln Center’s annual Summer for the City, Ruidosa Fest will include an incredible lineup of artists from across the Latin diaspora including:<\/p>\n

Iconic Brazillian singer Bebel Gilberto<\/p>\n

Indie synth pop duo Buscabulla<\/p>\n

GRAMMY-winning powerhouse iLe<\/p>\n

Acclaimed singer-songwriter and festival founder Francisca Valenzuela<\/p>\n

Brooklyn-based indie-pop band Salt Cathedral<\/p>\n

Innovative pop and electronic artist Bruses<\/p>\n

Ren\u00e9e Goust + Khylie Rylo reframing traditional Mexican music for wider audiences<\/p>\n

Latin GRAMMY-winning vocalist Nella<\/p>\n

Mireya Ramos fusing mariachia, salsa, and Hip-Hop<\/p>\n

Nightlife powerhouse DJ Riobamba<\/p>\n

and a special Silent Disco under Lincoln Center’s 10-foot disco ball by Ali Stone.<\/p>\n

Ruidosa, which means “to rumble,” “make noise,” or “roar” in Spanish, is not just a music festival. It is a inclusive, and intergenerational community platform that hosts workshops, panels, podcasts, and research initiatives. This year, Ruidosa Fest and Lincoln Center in their first collaboration, will transform the campus into a vibrant hub of live music and cultural exchange.<\/p>\n

The festival is part of Lincoln Center’s third annual Summer for the City, featuring of hundreds of events and thousands of artists, celebrating the multitude of stories within New York City. From June 12 to August 10, Lincoln Center’s campus is filled with specially built stages, art installations and new design elements, brand new commissions, multi-disciplinary performances, and expanded food offerings. All events are either free or Choose-What-You-Pay, starting at $5.<\/p>\n

Ruidosa Fest is a FREE event, taking places on Saturday, August 10 at Lincoln Center. The music industry panel Latinx to the Front: Nuestro Ruido is Worldwide kicks off the day at 3pm. Live performances begin at 4:30pm.<\/p>\n
