This free festival, founded by acclaimed singer-songwriter Francisca Valenzuela, celebrates and amplifies the voices of female and female-identified artists.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Part of Lincoln Center&#8217;s annual Summer for the City, Ruidosa Fest will include an incredible lineup of artists from across the Latin diaspora including:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-58267\" src=\"https:\/\/www.brazilianpress.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Foto-2-Agenda-Cultural.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"506\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.brazilianpress.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Foto-2-Agenda-Cultural.jpg 506w, https:\/\/www.brazilianpress.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Foto-2-Agenda-Cultural-169x300.jpg 169w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 506px) 100vw, 506px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Iconic Brazillian singer Bebel Gilberto<\/p>\n<p>Indie synth pop duo Buscabulla<\/p>\n<p>GRAMMY-winning powerhouse iLe<\/p>\n<p>Acclaimed singer-songwriter and festival founder Francisca Valenzuela<\/p>\n<p>Brooklyn-based indie-pop band Salt Cathedral<\/p>\n<p>Innovative pop and electronic artist Bruses<\/p>\n<p>Ren\u00e9e Goust + Khylie Rylo reframing traditional Mexican music for wider audiences<\/p>\n<p>Latin GRAMMY-winning vocalist Nella<\/p>\n<p>Mireya Ramos fusing mariachia, salsa, and Hip-Hop<\/p>\n<p>Nightlife powerhouse DJ Riobamba<\/p>\n<p>and a special Silent Disco under Lincoln Center&#8217;s 10-foot disco ball by Ali Stone.<\/p>\n<p>Ruidosa, which means &#8220;to rumble,&#8221; &#8220;make noise,&#8221; or &#8220;roar&#8221; in Spanish, is not just a music festival. It is a inclusive, and intergenerational community platform that hosts workshops, panels, podcasts, and research initiatives. From June 12 to August 10, Lincoln Center&#8217;s campus is filled with specially built stages, art installations and new design elements, brand new commissions, multi-disciplinary performances, and expanded food offerings. All events are either free or Choose-What-You-Pay, starting at $5.<\/p>\n<p>Ruidosa Fest is a FREE event, taking places on Saturday, August 10 at Lincoln Center. The music industry panel Latinx to the Front: Nuestro Ruido is Worldwide kicks off the day at 3pm.
