Roger Costa- Founded in 2007 by Lilian Rose Barbeito and Tina Finkelman Berkett, Los Angeles-based BODYTRAFFiC was named one of Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch” in 2013 and was praised by the Los Angeles Times for its “most hopeful combination of choreographic and performing excellence.” After debuting in New York in 2015 to great reactions from critics and audiences, the company will return for an exclusive one-week long program at The Joyce Theater, 175 Eighth Avenue, corner of 19th Street, Wednesday, January 18 thru Sunday, January 22. The company had performed all over the country, collecting appreciators for its vibrant, energized choreography as well as the preciseness, resistance and sensuality of the young group of dancers. For this special return, which kicks off its 10th anniversary season celebration, BODYTRAFFIC will perform the much-awaited World Premiere of its latest work “Private Games: Chapter One” signed by choreographer Anton Lachky. The mixed bill program also features 3 Preludes by Richard Siegaland and Death Defying Dances by Arthur Pita.

Tickets start at $10. Get it online http://joyce.org/performances/bodytraffic , by phone 212-242-0800 or at the Box-Office.
