Energetic, athletic, sensual and vigorous, Complexions is back for its 27th season at The Joyce Theater. From November 16 thru 28 audiences and dance lovers alike will have the delight to check the company’s most beloved pieces performed live on stage again.

Complexions Contemporary Ballet blends modern dance, classic and innovational to the sound of eclectic music from Beethoven to Jon Batiste and from Tye Tribbett to Lenny Kravitz, which the company’s hit ballet “Love Rocks” is danced to. During its season at the Joyce, located at 175 8th Avenue in Chelsea, Manhattan, Complexions will present two varied programs, each in a different week, including the World Premiere of their latest work, “Snatched Back From the Edges” exploring themes of isolation, racial injustice, activism and love through this generation’s perspective. The piece features a diverse soundtrack and each vignette tells a personal story in response to real emotions. In the second week, the Company will present “Truly, Madly, Deeply” a compilation of favorite dances focusing on the infinite beauty of the heart. Tickets $10.-$75. INFO:
