Honoring Bob Fosse and prestigious contemporary choreographers, the exuberant Hubbard Street Dance Chicago returns to The Joyce Theater (175 Eighth Avenue, West 19th Street) for a two-week engagement from March 24th thru April 5th.

For this season, the electrifying company will present two distinctive programs starting with Nacho Duato’s “Gnawa”, Aszure Barton’s signature “Blue Soup” and the show-stopping “Sweet Gwen Suite” by Bob Fosse & Gwen Verdon, a highlight of the ongoing historic partnership between Hubbard Street and the Verdon Fosse® Legacy.

On the second week, the program will feature Bob Fosse masterwork, “Percussion IV”, the Company’s “Within the Frame” by choreographer James Gregg, and “Beauty Chasers” by Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Associate Artistic Director Matthew Rushing. Gather the entire family for a must-see fun packed, impressive acrobatics show. A thrilling adventure sure to delight audiences of all ages, The Peking Acrobats lands at NJPAC (1 Center Street, Newark) to show their incomparable talent and equilibrium. Get ready for some exciting moments of trick cycling, contortion, juggling, gymnastics and balancing acts. Saturday, March 28th at 2pm and 7:30pm. Tickets start at $68. @New Directors/New Films

The annual showcase for emerging filmmakers hailing from all over the globe, New Directors/New Films returns for its 2026 edition from April 8th thru 19th, featuring some of the most promising contemporary works from talented fresh voices. Presented by Film at Lincoln Center and MoMA and taking place at both venues with filmmakers in person, this year’s selection includes award-winning films from festivals such as Cannes, Sundance, Locarno, Venice, Toronto and more.

@Miller Theatre

British composer Hannah Kendall hits the stage at The Miller Theatre (Columbia University, 2960, Broadway and 116th Street) for a unique performance. Kendall’s music is marked by striking and often polarizing dynamics, and features staggeringly intricate details that encourage further listening. Known for her attentive arrangements and immersive world-building, her work pushes the limits of compositional boundaries. Performed with the International Contemporary Ensemble.
