Agenda Cultural Mother’s Day

For almost a decade, the iconic musical event Mother’s Day Good Music Festival has been the center of great and award-winning musicians to present their best picks on a night that celebrates love in its most beautiful form. Presented by SJ Presents, and held at Prudential Center since its foundation in 2016, the event gathers fans of R&B, hip hop and soul music, coming from all over the Tri-State area.  On Friday, May 6, at 8pm, well-known artists, such as legendary Isley Brothers and child star Monica will rock the arena of Prudential Center for an evening of lovely songs, as well as dancing beats and top hits. The Grammy-winning line-up of artists include Isley Brothers tuning in to hits such as “It’s Your Thing” and “Mission To Please”, the sensual soul-R&B contagious beat of Keith Sweat chanting “I Want Her” and “I’ll Give All My Love To You”, the sensational multi-platinum vocalist Monica, who gained stardom as a child, and the amazing female group SWV. @Hulu at Madison Square Garden

The party continues with New York’s Hip Hop icons Ja Rule, Ashanti, Fat Joe, Remy Ma and Lil’Mo set to thrill audiences on the stage of the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden with their charisma and incredible energy. A celebration of the most influential musical genre of the new era and the commitment of its stars, shaping a generation of hip hop enthusiasts, the event is sure to be a top entertainment night filled with favorite tunes and surprise guests. One of the world’s most beloved dance companies, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is back on the stage of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center for their annual Mother’s Day Weekend Celebration in Newark. Formed by extraordinary dancers revealing the power and message of the company’s essence, they will perform works extracted from choreographer and Artistic Director Robert Battle’s 10th anniversary celebration, which marks the Ailey’s 2022 season, as well as Premieres and audience favorites such as “Shelter” and the essential “Revelations”.
